Wilds of Organica has a fantastic spot this year at Fantasy Faire’s Breeze sim and there are two new releases available:
This new set of cyborg heads is rigged, Materials-optimized mesh available in eight unique looks. These are mod/copy/no transfer and each comes with a version for both male and female shapes, plus appropriate alpha layers. 100% Proceeds from the Vital Violet and Unapologetic Pink versions will go to the American Cancer Society as part of the Relay for Life.
Additionally, all proceeds from this stave set will go to RFL/ACS. These staves include a slight particle effect, but are otherwise unscripted. By default, they will attach to your left hand, but since they are unrigged, you can attach them to any part of your avatar if you wish. Mod, copy, no transfer, includes 4 textures.
These and many other Wilds of Organica items will be on sale at Fantasy Faire, including many previous years’ RFL exclusive offerings!
Fantasy Faire runs from April 21 thru May 1 and Wilds of Organica can be found here.
These five new sets feature four beautifully patterned flower pots that would be great in any garden setting. They are each 1LI at packaged size and are Materials Optimized. Mod, copy, no transfer.
This bird-bath comes in two different flavours – one features mossy rock and the other a beautiful teal-coloured copper patina sure to draw the eye in any garden. Each are 1 LI each and are Materials Optimized. Mod, copy, no transfer.
Both are available in-store here or on the Marketplace here and here!
Folks who follow me on Plurk may have seen some previews over the past couple of weeks, but I’m pleased to officially announce the newest release from Wilds of Organica – a Penguin avatar!
Each avatar comes with eye & beak control plus AO. Comes in 12 coats, with 2 rares available. As usual, vended transfer-only, with option to exchange for mod/copy. Plays are L$100 each. Whether you want to collect ’em all or just pick up one, drop by The Arcade, starting 12AM Dec 1 2015 to take in the whole Arcade experience!
This September at The Arcade, these twelve raccoon avatars will be available as prizes for L$100 per play! They are 0.75m tall avatars, include a bipedal AO, with eye & tail control options! (The Wilds of Organica machine is near the back, on the left side of the central aisle). They’ll be available at The Arcade from September 1 2015 thru Sept 30!
As usual, transferrable avatars can be exchanged for mod/copy editions. Please note that the exchanger can now be found at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Organica/231/78/30 .
It’s that time again! The Arcade starts up in a matter of days and Wilds of Organica will be there…
This time with a set of giant racing beetles!
In collaboration with NeoBokrug Elytis of Desolate Studios, putting together these beetles has been a bit of a marathon in itself. The beetles themselves are materials optimized (but still quite pleasantly viewable with older lighting setups), 10 LI each and are drivable, however these beetles not only operate as standalone vehicles but each rez with one of six different traits which affect driving in a unique way. Play the gacha machine or trade with friends to get a vehicle with the stats you want – there are six attainable combinations to try!

Demo beetles will be on-hand at the Wilds of Organica main store, so if you’d like to try the beetles before locking in your (T) version for (C), this is an excellent opportunity to do so. Use either WASD or arrow keys to steer, and E or PgUp to jump. Please try to keep the beetles in the region! They will return home when you’re done.
Furthermore, the beetles work with the Wilds of Organica Racing System, which brings additional racing item elements in to play such as temporary speed, handling and jumping boosts as well as temporary slows, stops or control inversion.
The Boon & Bane Pack is completely optional, but a fun addition to your racetrack. Each item is 1 LI and copy-only. The pack is available separately at the main store.
Please note: Due to the nature of transfer-only items as well as the volatile nature of vehicles & region crossings, we highly recommend locking in your vehicle for a copy-only version once you are happy with what you’ve got. Your transfer-only vehicle may be exchanged for a copy-only vehicle at the Wilds of Organica main store. There is a special, separate exchanger for vehicles. Please check the note-card included with your purchase for the location, up to date as of May 27, 2015.
Fantasy Faire is just around the corner – it starts tomorrow, in fact! (April 23 thru May 3 2015, beginning at 9AM SLT)
Wilds of Organica has a number of new items which will make their debut appearance there – here are a few details:
Botans are plant based creatures from The Wastelands ( http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/The%20Wastelands/102/150/74 ); their physiology is unique to all sentient creatures of The Wastelands and is reminiscent of tough insect-eating plants found in swamps. They’re fast, vicious, and strictly carnivorous. They vary in appearance but beware their ferocity, incredible reach and their paralytic sting! (For more info about the Wastelands Botans, check out the entry for them on The Wastelands Wiki here: http://wiki.the-wastelands.org/index.php/Botans )
This avatar stands ~2.7m tall and includes the avatar mesh, a basic AO, as well as eye and back attachments. It’s currently available in two colour variations, one of which will be available as a donation gift, with all proceeds going to Relay for Life! It is optimized for use with Advanced Lighting, but can be worn and viewed with Basic lighting as well. This avatar is mod/copy/no transfer, with some copy-only scripts.
Since I’ve had the opportunity to model and 3D print small jewellry pieces recently, I decided I’d try my hand at creating some highly detailed but geometrically efficient pieces that could be used with many fantasy outfits (or just worn as is for fun). In all, there are three different rings, available in four different colours (gold, silver, hematite, bronze), plus one RFL-exclusive edition! Each package contains one copy of the ring sized to fit fingers and one copy of the ring sized to fit as an armlet (upper arm). These don’t come with a resizer script, so you may have to position/resize to fit your own shape manually, but if you need help (and can send me your avatar shape), feel free to give me a shout for a fitting.
The rings are mesh and optimized for use with Advanced Lighting, but also feature baked textures that look great under Basic lighting. Each are mod/copy/no transfer.
In addition to these items, previous RFL exclusives will also be available, including the pink and lavender edition Perytons as well as RFL versions of all the masks.
As a tangent regarding the rings, I’ve successfully uploaded and have ordered a print of the Lion ring in real metal; I hope to have it in my hands in a few weeks. If all goes well and if there is enough interest, I’ll make more sizes available , along with some minor customization options. I’m really excited to see how these turn out!
Is there a particular Wilds of Organica item you’d like to see made available as a tangible 3D print? Feel free to leave a comment or send me an IM!
The Home Show
Organica will be at the Home Show starting May 1 and running thru May 31! More details to follow.
Land stuff
Folks who have followed the development of residential land on the Sylvan estate (which is situated to the south of the Organica region) may know that the estate recently expanded to welcome a wholly new residential region called Sylvan Vale. We’re only a month in, but already well on our way to establishing a wonderful place for many to call home. The region features small to medium-sized parcels in a fully landscaped alpine river valley environment for reasonable prices and can be reached by visiting the land office here.
Availability is limited – please feel free to drop by and give me a shout if you have any questions!
This March at The Arcade, these twelve alpaca avatars will be available as prizes for L$100 per play! They are 1.5m tall avatars, include a fully quadrupedal AO, with eye & snout control options! (The Wilds of Organica machine is near the back, on the left side of the central aisle).
As usual, transferrable avatars can be exchanged for mod/copy editions. Please note that the exchanger can now be found at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Organica/231/78/30 .
The Arcade starts again in less than one day, and I’ve put together a collection of my wildlife sketches for you to pick/choose from or to collect! The series features two groups; the ‘Big Five’ African animals, and some well known majestic animals from the Rocky Mountains!
Each piece is 1 LI each and suitable for hanging in any home or office. They are offered transfer-only, but as usual, I recommend that you exchange your transfer-only item for a mod/copy edition. The usual exchanger instructions also apply to these items; please exchange them in the same area as the avatars. These items are L$50 per play and you’ll have an equal chance at winning any one of them. Visit The Arcade starting June 1 here!
Additionally, a new item is now available for The Neighbourhood at the introductory price of L$200 for the duration of this weekend:
This furniture set features three items; a sideboard, mirror and Asian-style dragon sculpture. All are original mesh & textures, optimized for use with Materials-capable viewers, but of course also usable with any viewer which is mesh-capable. Items range from 1-3LI each, for a total of 7LI altogether. This item is mod/copy/no transfer, and can be picked up now at the Organica Main Store.
Wilds of Organica will have a shop at Fantasy Faire this year, this time at Black Water Glenn .
Three new items will be making their debut at the Faire, and can be seen below:
These masks each come in five variations for normal sale and one special RFL edition variant. They are mod/copy and come with alpha layers to be worn underneath. They will be available only at the Faire for the duration of the event, after which they’ll make their way to the Wilds main store.
As per usual, RFL editions of my items will only be available for the duration of the RFL campaign, after which they’ll go away until next year, so do come by and support the Relay for Life while you can!
