The Neighbourhood for Oct 18 2014 – Industrial Shelf with Ladder

Organica’s release for The Neighbourhood is out a little bit early today!

These industrial shelves come equipped with rolling ladders that can be kept as is or de-linked as you like. Each package also includes various kitchen accessories, making this a great addition either to an industrial workspace or home! Shelving & ladder are 2LI (1 LI ea) and all additional accessories are 1 LI each. Mod/copy/no transfer prims, copy-only script. Materials optimized mesh. Organica at Candy Fair, Oct 3 thru 17, 2014

I’m pleased to announce that Organica will be taking part in this year’s Candy Fair, held on the CandyWood and Sugar Rush sims. The event strives to feature content of all kinds focused around the theme of sweets and treats!

Along with a number of other existing treats, Organica will feature the following new releases, which will be exclusive to the Fair for the duration of the event, after which they will make their way to the main store for general sale. Here’s a look at what’s in store for you:

Belvedere Couches: Candy coloured versions of these couches will be available at Candy Fair. As with previous editions of this set, each package includes a leather couch and armchair, with original singles animations. Pieces range from 4-5LI at packaged size. Mod/Copy, with some copy-only scripts.

Glass Front Fridge: This is one big fatpack of fridges that come with scripted doors, plus various beverage and food components to get your kitchen started. Great for a home kitchen, restaurant or store! Mod/Copy with some Copy-only scripts. Mesh, Materials optimized.

Gelato Case: This mesh gelato case comes with scripted doors and is optimized for use with materials capable viewers. Mod/Copy, with some copy-only scripts.

Candy Swirl Rounded Mugs: These mugs are 1 LI each and the package includes 8 colours, both as unscripted props and scripted worn items. Mod/Copy. Mesh, materials optimized.

Cotton Candy Machine: This 8LI cotton candy machine is scripted to dispense hand-held cotton candy on touch. These are a great addition as outdoor street vendors or as dispensers in restaurants or cafes. Mod/Copy with some copy-only scripts. Mesh, materials optimized.

Boxed Macarons: These treats are now available in classy boxes all put together in one fatpack of seven colours. They are unscripted props and can be de-linked as necessary. Mod/copy, mesh.

Milkshake Machines: These milkshake machine props are a great addition to any home or cafe! Includes five colours, materials optimized. Mod/copy, 2 LI ea.

Milkshakes: Three yummy flavours are included in this package, which offers both stationary and worn editions. Mod/Copy, Mesh, materials optimized.

Finally,

Souffle Gacha: Nine varieties of souffle are available not in the Organica store at Candy Fair but at the gacha garden, near the sim boundary between CandyWood and Sugar Rush. They are transfer-only, but can be exchanged at the Organica main store for mod/copy editions. 1LI each.

New tree this weekend for The Neighbourhood!

Hi Folks!

It’s been a while since I released a new tree, as well as a long while since I released a hawthorn tree, so if you were looking for one or both, you’re in luck! Standing at 19 by 16 by 17m, this flowering and fruiting tree comes in four foliage types and is accompanied by a scripted version that can switch between them at your leisure. The tree is mod/copy/no transfer and will be available for the introductory price of L$200 this Saturday as part of The Neighbourhood promotion. Pop by and pick one up now!

In other news, Organica will be participating in the upcoming Candy Faire! Keep your eyes open for another post in about a week for lots of scrumptious goodies!

New Releases today at Home & Garden Expo!

Organica is participating in this years Home and Garden Expo, which runs Sept 16 thru 28!

For the duration of the event, the following new releases will be exclusive to the Expo!

This one roomed structure is the latest in a set of builds which intend to make use of small spaces, both on the ground and in the air. Included is a version with and without the patio. Without, this structure will fit comfortably on most standard shaped 512sqm parcels. With the patio, it will fit on a 1024sqm parcel. This build features a comfortable reading area along with a flexible open-concept area for many uses, including use as a residence, cafe, or more. The patio includes a trellis for shade, as well as planter area ideal for any plant arrangement. With all optional items removed, this build can be as low as 29 LI (no patio, no books linked) – with books linked, the build is 77-82 LI, depending on whether the patio is linked. The build is mod/copy with some copy-only animations and some no-mod scripts. See it in person at my build at Home & Garden Expo here.

Additionally, a new couch and armchair set is now available in purple, brown, black, green and red, with all original animations and carefully detailed and realistic textures! This is a great addition to any cafe, lounge or home! Mod/copy, with copy-only animations and scripting.

100% of the proceeds from the Eggplant Purple Belvedere set,as well as the Varsity Reading Room will be donated to the American Cancer Society for the duration of the Expo.

Two sets of glass lamps now available for The Neighbourhood!

Two new releases this month for Organica’s part of The Neighbourhood!

Each of these packs features eight beautifully textured hanging lamps that are perfect for any home or garden. Use a single one or several together to create an interesting atmosphere. Please note: While these lamps do include individual candles, they are otherwise unscripted and do not have light prim properties, although being mod/copy, you could certainly edit them to do so. Each candle does include a no-mod script, so please be aware that while in inventory these objects may show as no-mod/no-transfer, the actual objects can be modified. These are mesh items. Viewing with Materials enabled is recommended, but not necessary. Available this weekend for the introductory price of L$200. Pick them up here!

Vendor system changes, gift certificates, store credit, redelivery terminal & mesh updates

Vendor System Changes:

Part of the long wait to re-open involved switching over all vendors to a new vendor system which, even though it took a lot of work to set up, should reduce overall time I have to spend on administrative tasks and improve my ability to work on new content.

As a result, however, old gift certificates will no longer work automatically with any vendor in the store. If you still have credit in a gift card using the old system (it’s green, not blue), please IM me directly to set up credit for your avatar in the new system! Purchasing gift cards will also be different moving forward. The gift card vendor is now located in the vestibule, on the left-hand side. To use it, simply left-click and follow the directions. You will be able to purchase gift cards in denominations of L$250, 500, 1000, 2000 or you can create a card with any denomination of your choosing. To redeem credit, simply wear the gift card and click the redemption kiosk, also located in the vestibule on the left, just below the gift card vendor.

All customers will also now accrue store credit at a rate of 2% on every purchase. To use store credit, simply left-click the vendor you wish to buy from and click ‘Use Credit’ prior to purchasing.

The new vendor system also allows for redelivery via web-interface. If your purchase was made prior to September 6, you should be able to get the terminal to show the purchase and redeliver it, provided the item is mod/copy. For all other purchases (no-copy or purchased prior to Sept 6), please contact me (Aki Shichiroji) directly, with transaction record.

Mesh Updates to many ground cover items:

In addition to all the new items and festivities this week, many updates were made to ground-cover field items, such that mesh options have been made available alongside older sculpted ones. Towards those ends, all new purchases marked ‘Now with mesh!’ should contain the updated field items applied to mesh shapes. For existing purchasers of these items, please contact me directly, stating which of the following list you purchased (please specify individual colours and/or fatpacks). After verifying this data with existing records, I’ll be able to put together a custom update package for you. *Please note! This mesh update is currently only available in-store, due to excessive workload surrounding new content for the store renovation. I’ll be switching marketplace copies of these items over some time between a few days to a week after the opening. If you purchased any of the below items via Marketplace and did not receive mesh shapes along with the sculpt shapes, please contact me directly and I’ll be happy to upgrade your purchase.

Apologies – automatic deliveries of these updates are not available due to the number of items which would individually need to be sent out.

Ten varieties are available and closely modelled to reflect real varieties of tulips. Each package has three tulip shapes for a little variety. They each also come with a potted version for your convenience. They feature solid textures, so no alpha flickering. They’re also 1LI per individual plant, 4LI per potted plant. As usual, these are mod/copy/no transfer.

The next instalment in spring flowers from Organica are these dainty but detailed mesh flowers! At 1 LI per piece, there are three shapes included to provide variety. Rez in your garden on their own or as complimentary units alongside the fields of lily-of-the-valley. Mod, copy, no transfer. Available in-world and on the Marketplace.

These new mesh cherry trees are stunning additions to any outdoor area; included are four different foliage options, plus a particle emitting version and a version for foliage change. Available in-world and on the Marketplace.

The Releases:

I’ve had some requests for more compact and upright trees that are more suitable to both urban and rural areas. Coupled with the desire to put out some more autumnal offerings, the results are as follows!

Both trees are low prim at 3 prims each. They come with three foliage textures, both scripted and unscripted, mod copy and mod transfer.

The Land News:
Six new parcels of land have been made available this month in Sylvan sim. If you have always wanted a spot in this quiet sim, now’s your chance. There are three parcels left, in the north-east corner of the sim and all parcels in Sylvan now have a 1.75x prim bonus, which means you can have 75% more prims on your parcel than you would normally.

New Oak Tree (with optional tire swing) released!

Many, many moons ago (almost two years!), my friend Todd Action asked for a big tree with a tire swing on it. I didn’t think much about it then, but over time I came around to the idea and how to execute it. I’ve also had a chance to play around with JJacek Antonelli’s Blender .bvh exporter, so I was ultimately able to put together something to my liking that meets the standards I try to keep today.

The result is a 11 prim Oak Tree (3 prims make up the optional tire swing) that is offered with both scripted and unscripted versions (for foliage change) as well as a rez-faux version which uses a scripted tree and swing. Sit on the tire swing to swing – three animations are included and can be switched through clicking the tire while seated. Due to the nature of the scripts and packages included with this product, it is being offered mod/copy only (scripts inside are copy only).
